Project: Refurbished historic buildings, exempted from taxes in Romania

The Senate adopted yesterday a draft proposal that cuts the taxes for the refurbished buildings that are classified as historic, architectural and archeological monuments, museums or memorial houses, regardless of the ownership type. The local councils can decide to grant the complete or partial tax exemption for these buildings, reports local Economica.net. A group of 28 MPS came up with this proposal, which also needs the approval of the Chamber of Deputies. editor@romania-insider.com
