New alert for heavy rain, strong wind in Romania

The weather will again get cold and rainy in Romania, starting Tuesday October 11, 02:00. The meteorologists have issued a new alert for heavy rain and strong wind, which is valid until Thursday, October 13, 10:00. In this period, the rainy weather will take over most regions. At first, the rain will be present in the southern part of Romania, and will then take over the eastern, southeastern, and mountain areas as well. The waterfall will exceed 25 liters per sqm, and even 40-50 liters per sqm in regions such as Moldova, northern Muntenia and Dobrogea, and in the mountains. On Tuesday, it will start to snow again in the mountain areas, especially at high altitudes and in the northern part of the Eastern Carpathians. The wind will blow with 55-65 km per hour, mainly in the eastern part of the country and the mountains. The temperatures will also remain low in this period.
