Brit cycles from London to Bucharest to support Ukrainians affected by war

David Potts, a former Royal Air Force Officer, Management Consultant and UiPath Alumnus, recently started a month-long cycling journey from London to Bucharest to support Ukrainian citizens affected by war. He will cycle 2,700 km to raise donations for the Solidarity Fund for Ukraine campaign initiated by UiPath Foundation.

According to the Foundation, David Potts will pass through a total of 29 cities during his journey. Those who want to support his cause can donate here.

“I am Dave and I’ve chosen to cycle across Europe to help Ukrainian refugees through the Solidarity Fund for Ukraine Campaign, initiated by UiPath Foundation,” reads David Potts’ message on the fundraising platform Galantom.

“My motivation for undertaking this journey is to contribute to the support for Ukraine in a way that I can. By cycling over 1,700 miles (2,700 km) from UiPath’s London office to the home of UiPath in Bucharest I aim to show that our community in Europe stands in solidarity with Ukraine. I’ve chosen to support UiPath Foundation because it represents the sort of social change that resonates with me and the Foundation’s Solidarity Fund for Ukraine Campaign because Romania is on the front line of this humanitarian disaster,” he further explains his decision.

The Solidarity Fund launched by the UiPath Foundation raises donations for children and adults in Ukraine affected by war, refugees fleeing the war, and underprivileged children in North-Eastern Romania and the potential relocation of the families in the event the conflict escalates.
