Frenchwoman signals possible fraud at Bucharest's District 1 City Hall

French-Romanian citizen Clotilde Armand, who is a counsellor at Bucharest’s District 1 City Hall, filed yesterday a complaint at the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) on fraud suspicions related to the District 1 City Hall. She hasn’t mentioned the complaint’s content. However, she did say that it’s not related to the mayor, but to one of the city hall’s services. “These frauds are causing some damages to Romanian citizens. There is nothing proven, an investigation must take place,” she said, reports News.ro. Clotilde also mentioned that she hasn’t notified the city hall management before coming to the DNA headquarters. Armand represents the young Union to Save Romania (USR) party. She ran for the mayor of Bucharest's District 1, but ranked second, after the current mayor Dan Tudorache. editor@romania-insider.com
