Bucharest mall installs free charging stations for electric cars

Promenada Mall in Bucharest has opened two charging stations for electric cars, in partnership with Renovatio e-charge. The stations have a charging power of 22kW, and the drivers can use them for free. They are located in the shopping center’s underground parking, at the -3 level, and have AC Type 2 power outlets. The stations can charge any type of plug-in electric or hybrid car. “We want to offer Promenada customers the best experience and a large number of options, and the partnership with e-Renovatio charge came as a natural step in the modernization of the shopping center, in a time when the electric cars are gaining popularity,” said Ana-Maria Leca, Center Manager Promenada. By installing the new charging stations in Promenada Mall, the Renovatio e-charge network expands to 12 charging points located in Bucharest, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Arad, Cluj, Timisoara, Constanta, Sibiu, Deva, and Iasi.
