Bucharest and Sofia residents, least happy with schools in their cities

Only 48% of Bucharest’s residents are satisfied with schools in the city, which places the Romanian capital among the last in Europe in terms of satisfaction with schools. Only Bulgaria’s Sofia ranks lower, with 47% of its residents satisfied with schools in the city. In all other EU capitals, more than half of the residents are satisfied with schools and other education facilities in their cities. The EU capitals with more than 75% of respondents stating satisfaction were Dublin (83%), Ljubljana, Lefkosia and Helsinki (all 79%) and Luxembourg (78%). The information is part of a Eurobarometer survey on the quality of life in European cities, carried out in 2015.
