Romania's tax agency sets up online store to sell seized products

26 September 2016

Romania’s National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) plans to set up an online store to sell seized products, said the institution’s president Dragos Doros.

It will operate like any other online store, but products will also be auctioned.

“The prices for certain products will be fixed while others will be auctioned,” Doros said, reports local Agerpres.

ANAF already has stores across the country. It sells various products, ranging from video cameras to panties, according to the institution.

In one of its stores located in Bucharest, ANAF sells earrings, bracelets or golden and silver necklaces, as well as chocolate bars or chewing gum.

Romania’s tax agency will only accept online tax statements starting January 1
