Romania's Finance Ministry warns on fraud for false Internet tax

Romania’s Finance Ministry has warned those who receive emails asking them to pay an annual tax of EUR 62 for Internet services use to withhold making any payments.

Neither the Finance Ministry, nor the Tax Authority ANAF have sent such notifications, which may be a fraud attempt.

Several people have complained about this type of emails received from the taxa@finante-romania.ro address.
