Romania’s C.S.M Bucuresti won the 2016 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup – Women on Sunday, after a 3-1 (25-23, 25-13, 20-25, 25-20) victory in the second match against Turkey’s Trabzon Idman Ocagi.

The result came after C.S.M. Bucuresti claimed a 3-1 home win against the Turkish team last Wednesday.

This is the first European Cup title in the history of the Romanian women's volley.

C.S.M Bucuresti’s team was made of Roxana Bacsis, Diana Tataru, Mihaela Ozun, Jasna Majstorovic, Adina-Maria Rosca, Giulia Pincerato, Diana-Dora Carbuneanu, Georgiana Fales, Mariya Karakasheva, Laura Pihlajamaki, Jole Ruzzini, and Tamara Susic.
