Romanians have bought and sold virtual Bitcoin currency worth over EUR 1.3 million via BTCxchange.ro platform, since December 2013. A total of 3,343 Bitcoins were traded on the platform, worth the equivalent of RON 5.9 million. Over 2,200 people registered on BTCxchange.ro and made transactions with the virtual currency, reports local Wall-street.ro.
