Romania’s Tax Agency ANAF increased the collected taxes by 7.8% last year, and the voluntary compliance reached 83.5%, according to the institution’s report from 2015. ANAF collected EUR 43.7 billion last year. The share of the budget revenues in the GDP amounted to 27.9%, up 0.5 percentage points compared to 2014. The VAT collection to the state budget rose by 12% to EUR 12.8 billion whereas the revenues from the tax on profit went up by 13% to EUR 2.7 billion.
