16 July 2015

Famous British singer Robbie Williams will perform in front of more than 60,000 fans in Bucharest's Constitutiei Square this Friday, July 17.

The stage, which is 57 meters long and 30 meters deep, is already being assembled. Some 300 staff members and 150 machinists are preparing the entire production, while 600 agents will provide the security.

Those who can’t go to Constitutiei Square to see Robbie William’s performance, can stay at home and watch it live on telekomtv.ro, or via the mobile app Telekom TV. The users can book one of the 50,000 virtual tickets until July 17, 13:00, according to a statement of telecom company Telekom. Registration for virtual tickets can be made on telekom.ro.

Telekom clients who use the Telekom TV service can also watch the concert on Dolce Info TV program, on July 17, starting 20:00.

Telekom and Banca Transilvania are the main sponsors of the event.

The Robbie Williams concert also brings traffic restrictions in Romania’s capital, from July 16, 18:00, until July 18, 08:00. There will be no traffic on Libertatii Blvd., between Calea 13 Septembrie and Natiunile Unite Blvd., and on Unirii Blvd., between IC Bratianu Blvd. and Constitutiei Square, reports local Agerpres.

The police recommend drivers to use several detours, such as Calea 13 Septembrie - Liberatii Blvd. – George Cosbuc Square – Regina Maria Blvd; Izvor street – Hasdeu street – Splaiul Independentei; Unirii Blvd. – Unirii Square – Splaiul Independentei – Hasdeu street – Izvor street – Calea 13 Septembrie.

Robbie William’s first concert in Romania beats Lady Gaga & Madonna’s local ticket sales record.
