Prince Charles officially starts visit in Romania today

Prince Charles, the heir to the throne of the United Kingdom, begins his three-day official visit to Romania today. On the first day of the visit, the Prince of Wales will be decorated by President Klaus Iohannis with the National Order "Star of Romania" with the rank of Grand Cross. According to the Presidential Administration, discussions between Iohannis and Prince Charles will focus on developing and deepening the strategic partnership between Romania and the UK, including security, but also on the situation of the Romanian community in the UK. Prince Charles will be in Romania until Friday. This will be his only second official visit to the country since 1998, according to the British Embassy in Bucharest. The visit is part of a regional tour that will continue in Italy and Austria and will conclude on April 6.
