“Zero decibels”, a play about the deaf and mute, to premiere in Bucharest

A theater play called 'Zero decibels', directed by Ioana Paun, who presents the reality of the deaf and mute and also the deafening reality of the other inhabitants of Bucharest, will premiere on Saturday, April 16, at “Teatrul foarte Mic” in Bucharest (21 Carol Blvd.) “Zero decibels” is Ioana Paun's second project on this subject. The first, set in London, UK, named "Realtympanica", explored the noise effects that the building of the new London Olympic Park had on people. The play 'Zero Decibels' is made after a text by Monica Bozdog and Ioana Paun and the cast includes Mihaela Rădescu, Claudia Prec, Alexandru Potoceanu, Ştefan Lupu, Sever Bârzan and Paul Dunca. Ioana Paun is a performative artist, graduated from the Master of Performance Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London and the National University of Theatre and Film from Bucharest.
