Zenith Media: Romania’s advertising market to go up slightly in 2012 on Internet growth

Romania’s advertising market will grow slightly in 2012, while investments in advertising made by companies on the local market will reach about EUR 305 million this year, down 4 percent compared to last year, according to Zenith Media Romania. Investments in TV advertising will drop by 4 percent, printed media will go down down by 5 percent, while the investments in radio will decrease by 5 percent, and those in cinema and out-of-home (OOH) advertising will drop by 10 percent. The Internet is the only type of media that will grow on the advertising market in Romania. Zenith estimates an increase of 25 percent on this segment.
