Yellow alert for heavy rain and wind in Bucharest and 15 counties

Bucharest and 15 counties are under a yellow alert of heavy rain, wind, and lightning from Tuesday, 22:00, until Wednesday, 22:00. The warning is valid for Bucharest and Arges, Buzau, Dolj, Mehedinti, Sibiu, Vrancea, Covasna, Gorj, Olt, Teleorman, Brasov, Dambovita, Giurgiu, Prahova, and Valcea counties. In these 24 hours, the quantities of water will amount to over 25 liters per sqm and even 40-50 liters per sqm in some areas. Moreover, the wind is expected to blow with 60-65 km per hour, and even 80 km per hour in the mountain regions. The temperatures will also drop significantly in the coming days, after a few hot days.
