World Theater Day celebrated with 25-hour non-stop performance in Sibiu, Romania

The World Theater Day on March 27 will be celebrated in Romania with a 25-hour uninterrupted theater performance in Sibiu. The event, called 'Breathe. Theater', will start on March 26, at 19,00 hours, with a performance by Romanian actor Horatiu Malaele and end on March 27, at 21,00 hours. The opening act will take place at the Radu Stanca theater in Sibiu, Thalia hall. Tickets for the Horatiu Malaele performance cost RON 50. Tickets for the other performances cost RON 10 each and can be bought from the theater's box office, Humanitas bookshop, Atrium Classic cafe and the BIS stand in Promenada Mall in Sibiu. The event is organized by the BIS cultural association, in partnership with the Radu Stanca theater in Sibiu, Humanitas bookshop and Atrium Classic Cafe. In total, 50 actors will take part in the marathon event. World Theater Day was created in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute.
