Women occupy only 12% of the management positions in companies with a turnover above average, according to local media, quoting a study by Estuar Foundation. In the last 10 years, the number of big companies led by women has increased by 15%, but women continue to be poorly represented. However, women are more active in the small business sector. They lead about 40% of the companies with a small or medium turnover, and this trend is going up. Meanwhile, women also hold 20% of the middle-management positions in these companies. editor@romania-insider.com
