Which are the most popular company brands on Facebook in Romania?

Four companies have managed to get more than one million fans on Facebook in Romania by December 2014, statistics show. The most popular company page on Facebook in Romania was the local page of German automaker Opel, which had more than 2.55 million fans, as of December 12, according to statistics from Facebrands.ro. The second most popular page was that of online fashion retailer Fashion Days, which had 1.63 million fans, while supermarket chain Lidl Romania came third, with almost 1.47 million fans. The only other company page which passed one million fans was that of mineral water producer AQUA Carpatica, with 1.04 million fans. Four other company pages were in the 900,000 – 1,000,000 likes range, namely those of cookware and small appliance manufacturer Tefal, cosmetics retailer Avon, fast food chain McDonald’s, and soft drinks producer Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola is the only one of the four which doesn’t have a dedicated Facebook page for Romania, but its international page has more than 925,000 fans in Romania. Electronics producer Samsung and coffee maker Doncafe are the last two companies in the top 10 most popular brands on Facebook in Romania, each with more than 850,000 fans.
