Vodafone Romania names Angus Slater new chief marketing officer

Angus Slater (in picture) is the new chief marketing officer of telecom company Vodafone Romania starting the beginning of June. He replaces Marcus Kind, who took another role within the Vodafone group. Slater, 38, joins the Romanian subsidiary from the one in Netherlands, where he was member of the board. He started working with Vodafone in 2003 and has worked in most marketing areas within the company ever since, in countries like UK, Germany, Japan and the Netherlands. Before joining Vodafone, he worked for eight year with Accenture. Angus Slater holds an MA in modern history from the Oxford University.
