Villa proposed to Romania's ex-President, up for sale for EUR 4 mln

The state-owned Villa 11 from Snagov, that the Government has proposed to former Romanian President Traian Basescu as a residence after ending his mandate, along with six other houses, was put up for sale through an open outcry auction for a price starting at EUR 3.7 million (VAT included), reports local Wall-street.ro. The villa stretches over a 1,702 sqm usable area, and includes a 183 sqm administrative building, an office building of 58.41 sqm and a surrounding piece of land of 27,412 sqm. The Government presented Basescu in December a list of seven houses that he could use as residence after his presidential mandate ended, including two villas in Snagov.
