US group Emerson buys 25.4 hectares in Romania for EUR 2.3 mln

US company Emerson has bought a 25.4 hectares plot in the Eurobusiness Industrial Park in Oradea, western Romania, for EUR 2.3 million, according to the Oradea City Hall, reports local Economica.net. Emerson has a long-term investment plan for the Eurobusiness Industrial Park Oradea I. The total investment in the manufacturing and support center will be carried out by 2022 and will amount to EUR 80 million. The US group is close to completing its first production hall in the Eurobusiness Industrial Park Oradea. Emerson also owns a production hall in the Tetarom Industrial Park II in Cluj-Napoca with over 2,200 employees and a sales office in Bucharest. editor@romania-insider.com
