UPC Romania outsources technical activities to Huawei

Telecom player UPC Romania will outsource its technical activities in the field to Chinese company Huawei’s local subsidiary, following a contract between the two firms. UPC will transfer to Huawei the employees in the customer and network operation departments this year. Huawei Romania was selected in an auction organized by UPC. The Swedish group Ericsson was also in the race to take over UPC Romania’s technical activities in the field. However, Huawei had a better offer. editor@romania-insider.com
