The Romanian insurance brokers' association (UNSICAR) has appointed a new president, as well as a new Board of Directors. Dorel Duta has become the UNSICAR president replacing Bogdan Andriescu. The vote took place in the general meeting yesterday. The new Board of Directors includes Rodica Fuicu (Asig Management), Bogdan Andriescu (Risk Control), Dorel Duta (Hobbit Broker de Asigurare), Victor Sraer (Otto Broker) and Ionel Dima (AVUS International). Dorel Duta has worked in the insurance industry since 1995. He is also an associate and the general director of Hobbit Broker de Asigurare. Duta became UNSICAR member in December 2000. Bogdan Andriescu has been the UNSICAR president since 2001. He took part in establishing BAAR (Romanian Auto Insurance Office), UNSAR (National Union of Insurance Companies in Romania), UNSICAR and Nuclear POOL. editor@romania-insider.com (photo source: Uniscar on Facebook)
