UniCredit installs two charging stations for electric cars in Bucharest

Financial group UniCredit will install two charging stations for electric cars in Bucharest this week, the company announced. One of the two stations will be installed at the UniCredit Bank headquarters while the other one will be located at the headquarters of UniCredit Leasing Corporation. Visitors, whether or not customers of the bank or leasing company, can use the stations free of charge. Both charging stations will be available 24/7. During 2017, the financial group will expand this project by adding more charging stations, even in major cities outside Bucharest. In this context, UniCredit announced that it had purchased two BMW i3 electric cars, which will be made available to representatives of UniCredit through the operational leasing service offered by UniCredit Leasing Fleet Management, an affiliate of UniCredit Leasing Corporation. Between December 2016 and January 2017, one of the two BMW i3 cars will go on display at Baneasa Shopping City in northern Bucharest, where a UniCredit Bank office will be set up. The entire project is a result of the partnership between UniCredit Leasing Corporation and BMW Romania, started in 2006.
