Two new expat managers for real,- Hypermarket Romania

Thierry Guillon-Verne (in picture) is the new head of Food Products Purchasing department with retailer real,- Hypermarket Romania. He is replacing Kurt Kamp. Guillon-Verne was previously group strategy director with Carrefour France before joining the food acquisition acquisitions and merchandising department with real,- Hypermarket Romania. He has 19 years of experience in retail, out of which 10 in Asia and 5 in Germany. He has graduated the International Commercial Academy Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris and holds an international business certificate from the Fachhochschule Reutlingen – F.H. university in Germany. real,- Hypermarket has also appointed Christian Göpfert as operational director, replacing Andreea Lupea. Göpfert joined Metro Group in 2005 as project manager for la real,- International. Before joining the Romanian subsidiary, Göpfert was operational director for real,- Ukraine, a position he has held since 2007. real,- Hypermarket Romania is part of Metro Group, which is present in the country with the Metro Cash & Carry brand too.
