The Romanian market for LCD and LED TVs has seen substantial growth in recent years, and 2015 could be the first year when sales could pass the one million units threshold. “We don’t have the final numbers for 2014, but we can certainly say this was the year for TVs. Growth has been steady. We estimate that the market went up by more than 30% to about 900,000 units,” said Lucian Radulescu, country head with Sony for Romania and Moldova, cited by local Economica.net.
