Turnover in the trade with motor vehicles, motorcycles, up 23% in Romania

The turnover in the trade with motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 23.8% in September compared to the same month in 2015. Compared to the previous month the turnover rose by 10.7%. In September, the trade with motor vehicles recorded the highest increase compared to the same month last year, namely 35%. Also, the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles went up by 33.6% year-on-year, and the turnover of the trade with motorcycles advanced by 19.3% compared to September 2015, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INS). In the first nine months, the turnover in the automotive trade sector went up by 18.3% compared to the same period of 2015 as car sales went up by 28%. editor@romania-insider.com
