About 300 kilometers of railways break down in Romania each year and only 16 are repaired, transport minister Lucian Sova said on Friday, October 12. He also said that the 23,000 employees of the national company CFR, which manages the railway infrastructure in Romania, could repair the rail infrastructure if they had the necessary funds.
