Three Romanian life insurers included in European stress test

Three local insurers NN Asigurari, Grawe, and Asirom’s life insurance division will take part in a stress test carried out by the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), according to the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF). The three insurance companies hold together almost two-thirds of the technical reserves in the local life insurance market. The test stress aims to assess the insurers’ vulnerabilities and the resilience to adverse market developments. The insurers that take part in the test have to send the results to the Financial Supervisory Authority until mid-July. editor@romania-insider.com
