Three quarters of Romania’s tractors are old

More than 73% of Romania’s tractors and harvesters are out-of-date and the poor technical endowment with agricultural machines directly influences the performance of the local producers, according to Romania’s Agriculture Ministry, quoted by Agerpres. Romania has more than 184,000 tractors, 24,000 harvesters, 147,000 plows, 90,000 disc harrows and 73,500 seeders.
