Over a third of Romanian households own at least one tablet

About 36% of households in Romania own a tablet or more, according to Romania’s Communication Authority ANCOM. Almost three-quarters (73%) of the households have at least one smartphone and 55% of them have at least one laptop. Half of Romanians have access to Internet via mobile, based on a phone subscription which includes Internet connection. Some 55% of the mobile Internet users with limited traffic are careful about using the Internet and try not to exceed the traffic. Only 10% said that they use the Internet beyond the traffic limit very often. Romanians are generally satisfied with their Internet providers. Only 5% of them have changed their operator in the last year. editor@romania-insider.com
