ThinkDigital will sell advertising space for TripAdvisor in Romania

ThinkDigital, one of the top digital media networks in Central and Eastern Europe, will sell display advertising for TripAdvisor, the biggest travel platform in the world, in Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, and Hungary. ThinkDigital will be the exclusive representative for TripAdvisor Ads in these four markets, according to a press release. TripAdvisor is the biggest supplier of travel information in the world. The TripAdvisor websites have over 340 million unique visitors per month. One of two tourists has visited TripAdvisor at least once looking for travel information, according to a Comscore study from June 2015. ThinkDigital Romania, which is part of Athens based TDG group, is the biggest digital media agency in Romania. It sells advertising for 35 local media websites, including those of Mediafax group, one of the biggest local publishers. The websites in its portfolio had 21.6 million unique visitors and close to 100 million visits in June, according to the local Internet Audience and Traffic Measurement (SATI). ThinkDigital Internet & Advertising had a turnover of close to EUR 3.6 million and a net profit of 0.41 million in 2014, according to official data from the Finance Ministry.
