The weather’s getting cold in Romania before New Year’s Eve

Romania had unexpectedly warm weather for Christmas, with temperatures often reaching 15 degrees Celsius during the afternoons, making it feel more like Easter. However, the weather will get cold for New Year’s Eve. Temperatures will start to drop on Monday throughout the country and light snowfall may occur in some regions, according to the national weather service ANM. In the last days of the year and in the beginning of next year, the average temperature during the day will be between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius while during the night the temperature will drop below freezing point, to between -2 and -7 degrees Celsius. editor@romania-insider.com
