The trade with cars and motorcycles goes up by 16% in Romania

The automotive wholesale and retail trade, and the repair and the maintenance turnover rose by 16% in January this year compared to January 2015, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). The evolution was mainly driven by the increase in the trade with motor vehicles (up by 27%), as well as the growth in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles (up 12.4%). The trade with parts and accessories for motor vehicles also went up by 4.5% whereas the trade with motorcycles and related parts and accessories rose by 3.5%.
