The Colectiv tragedy in Bucharest: How many victims still admitted in hospitals?

It’s been four months since Romania was shaken by the tragic incident at Colectiv club, which killed 63 people and injured many more. According to representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Health, 13 victims are still admitted in hospitals, most of them being in Belgium (seven people), reports local Mediafax. Three patients are treated in hospitals in the UK, two are in Germany, and only one person is treated at a Romanian hospital, in Bucharest. People will gather in front of the Colectiv club today, February 29, to commemorate the victims of the tragic fire. Colectiv club was a popular location for young Bucharesters. On October 30, some 400 people gathered in the club for a rock concert performed by local band Goodbye to Gravity. The fire started during the concert, killing 27 people that night. However, the number of deaths increased to 63 in the coming months as more died at the hospital due to the burns or hospital infections.
