The average mobile phone user in Romania consumes 155 MB mobile internet traffic, sends 72 text messages and talks on average 249 minutes each month. The intensive user consumes monthly 465 MB internet traffic, sends 216 text messages and talks on average 747 minutes, according to Romania’s Communication Authority ANCOM. The telecom market regulator has launched an application called Veritel that allows users to compare telecom offers, and displays the 25 cheapest tariff plans based on monthly consumption chosen by users. editor@romania-insider.com
