Taken 2, The Sweeney screening in action movie marathon at Plaza Romania this week-end

The Movieplex Cinema in Plaza Romania is screening an action movie marathon over the weekend. Running Saturday and Sunday night (October 27 and 28) reductions will be available on tickets for all five films. Prizes will be up for grabs, including iPhones and Sony Xperia tablets, as well as nearly 1,500 instant mini-prizes.

Expect explosions, shoot outs and high octane action with Liam Neesen reprising his role as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in Taken 2, this time in Istanbul. Savages, directed by Oliver Stone, is the tale of marijuana growers getting tangled up with the cartels, the results are predictably violent. The Sweeney is based on the 70s UK cop television show, which followed the exploits of London Police's Flying Squad. The updated film version stars a suitably tough and gruff Ray Winstone.
