Swedish Inter IKEA's real estate arm starts second office project in Bucharest

Vastint, Swedish group Inter IKEA’s real estate division, has broken ground on the three buildings of the Business Garden Bucharest real estate project, which will provide 41,000 sqm of modern office space and commercial spaces. Austrian group PORR Construct is the general contractor of this project, which should be finalized in late 2018. The project is located in Bucharest’s District 6, in the Orhideea area, near the Carrefour Orhideea shopping center. The complex includes an office building of 21,000 sqm, plus other two buildings with leasable areas of 10,000 sqm each. Vastint Romania also owns the Timpuri Noi Square office project in Bucharest, which is located in the District 3, close to the Timpuri Noi subway station. The project will provide up to 100,000 of office space and commercial areas. Vastint also plans to develop a residential project on a 48-hectare plot in northern Bucharest. editor@romania-insider.com
