Survey: Liberals would win Romanian parliamentary elections

If Romania would organize parliamentary elections in this period, the National Liberal Party PNL would win with a score of 44.5%, according to a recent INSCOP survey. The score is slightly lower than the results in April – 44.7%. The alliance between the Social Democratic Party PSD and the National Union for Romania’s Progress UNPR would come second with 37.1% of the votes. Magyar Democratic Union UDMR would get a score of 5.1%. The Liberals and Democrats Alliance ALDE would come next with 3% of the votes, followed by the Popular Movement Party PMP with 2.4%, M10 with 2.3%, the Great Romania Party PRM with 2.1%, and the Christian Democratic National Peasants' Party PNTCD with 1.2%. Almost 40% of respondents wouldn’t vote for a new party in the upcoming elections, almost 30% would vote for such a party, and 25.4% haven’t decided yet, the survey shows. The survey was conducted between July 9 and July 14, on a sample of over 1,000 people. INSCOP Research carried out the survey at the request of local Adevarul newspaper.
