State Secretary in Romania's Education Ministry, accused of copying entire dissertation thesis

A secretary of state within Romania's Education Ministry was recently accused by a TV anchor of having copied her entire dissertation paper in 2008. Stefania Duminica, State Secretary within the Education Ministry, allegedly plagiarized her dissertation paper by fully copying another MA student's paper, according to B1TV. She refused to comment during the show where this allegation was made, but the Education Minister confirmed a meeting to analyze the situation was scheduled. According to B1 TV, Stefania Duminica also left in her paper the name of the MA student who wrote the original version. Duminica has been a state secretary with the ministry since May 2013. She is a vice – president of the National Liberal Party (PNL) branch in Chitila and member of the board in the organization of Liberal Women. She has also been a lecturer at the Teachers' Training Center at the University of Bucharest since 2008 and a highschool Romanian language and literature teacher. editor@romania-insider.com
