Sorrentino's 'This must be the place' premieres at International Film Festival in Bucharest in March

The International Film Festival in Bucharest, which will kick off on March 19, will feature the absolute premiere screening of 'This must be the place', the first English – language movie directed by Italian Paolo Sorrentino. The film will end the competition, on March 25.

The eight edition of the festival will be dedicated to feature length movies, with screenings scheduled at the Studio Cinema, the New Cinema of the Romanian Director and the Elvira Popescu cinema. The full list of movies to be screened will be published on March 12. John Harlan, Stanley Kubrick's executive producer, will be the president of the jury this year. The festival is organized by the Charta cultural foundation, in partnership with Art Promo cultural foundation, the support of the National Cinema Center and Culture Ministry. 'This Must Be the Place' stars Sean Penn and Frances McDormand and deals with a middle-aged rock star bored after retirement, who travels to New York to reconcile with his father, only to end up trying to find his father's tormentor from the Auschwitz camp. editor@romania-insider.com
