Some 550 premium apartments to be delivered in northern Bucharest

Developers were building about 550 premium apartments in northern Bucharest, at the end of last year. These apartments will be finished in the next two years, according to real estate consultancy firm DTZ Echinox. Between 2014 and 2015, the number of premium apartments delivered in northern Bucharest reached 200 units. Most of them were built in the Floreasca area (32%), followed by the Herastrau area (25%). These areas will continue to see the highest number of new deliveries whereas in the Dorobanti, Aviatorilor, and Kiseleff areas, the number of premiums apartments that will be delivered in 2016 and 2017 represent only 9% of the total. The average prices for residential projects vary from 1,800 per sqm (plus VAT) in the Aviatiei area, to EUR 1,900-2,000 in Herastrau, Floreasca and Aviatorilor, EUR 3,000 in Kiseleff and Dorobanti, and up to EUR 3,500 in Primaverii. editor@romania-insider.com
