Software and IT&C services make EUR 900 mln market in Romania

Romania’s software and IT&C services market will reach EUR 900 million in 2015, according to Eugen Schwab-Chesaru, manager for Eastern Europe with Pierre Audoin Consultants, quoted by Agerpres. Such services delivered to the public sector cover a quarter of the market, and the rest are covered by private clients. The software and IT&C services market in Romania should have exceeded EUR 2 billion in 2015, but unfortunately stands at less than half, according to Schwab-Chesaru. Public spending on such services from the total software and IT&C services market is at its lowest ratio compared to previous years, and not much is expected to change in 2015. The private services sector could be helped by application management or application outsourcing contracts. editor@romania-insider.com
