Smoking ban proposal would affect 85% of Romania's restaurants, cafes

The financial stability of 85% of the restaurants and cafes in Romania will be affected if the Government applies the new proposals on banning smoking in enclosed public places, according to the Federation of Hotel Industry in Romania (HORA). “A full smoking ban will only exacerbate this situation. HORA believes that smoking should be restricted in spaces for medical activities, culture, education, public transport and enclosed children playground areas.
