A Romanian won three medals at the recent European weightlifting championships in Tbilisi. Irina Lepsa landed two silver medals and a bronze. The 22-year old Romanian managed to lift 205 kilos in two competition categories. The gold for all three spots went to Boianka Kostova from Azerbaijan, with a total of 246 kilos lifted. Two other Romanians won medals in the competition over last week-end: Florin Croitoru got the silver for the 62 kilos category, and Monica Csengeri, the bronze in the 48 kilos category.
