Romania’s total agricultural production reaches EUR 17 bln

The total value of Romania’s agricultural production amounted to EUR 16.8 billion last year. The agricultural services only had a small share in the total production, amounting to some 1.3%. The South-Muntenia, South-East and North-East regions recorded the largest shares of crop production. It was the same regions which scored well for animal production. The Ilfov-Bucharest region, which includes the capital, had the lowest share in the national agricultural production. By comparison, the South-Muntenia region had the largest share. editor@romania-insider.com
