Romania’s tennis ace Simona Halep, the current number three in the WTA ranking, has won the first edition of BRD Bucharest Open. She beat Italy’s Roberta Vinci in the finals, with 6-1, 6-3. The game yesterday (July 13) lasted slightly over one hour. For her performance in Bucharest, the Romanian tennis player will get 280 WTA points and a prize of USD 43,000. Roberta Vinci will receive USD 21,400 and 180 WTA points.
