Romania’s rapeseed crop this year could be 52 percent higher than in 2013, helping the EU achieve a better than expected crop, according to Oil World, quoted by Agerpres. The large crops in Romania, Germany and UK might help the EU exceed estimations, and reach a record level of 22.7 million tonnes. Romania’s production could reach 1 million tonnes, 52 percent higher than in 2013. Germany, the largest rapeseed producer in the EU, the crop could stay at 5.9 million tonnes this year.
