Romania’s Ministry of Defense hires more than 2,700 professional soldiers

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense (MApN) wants to hire 2,725 professional soldiers and has opened a competition to fill these positions, according to an announcement posted on the Ministry’s website, cited by local Mediafax. The candidates must be aged over 18 when the training program starts and under 50 when the first contract of employment ends. Moreover, they must have completed compulsory education and provide graduation proof by the time the training program starts. The candidates who are in reserve should agree to give up the ranking previously acquired and held as a reservist, after joining the army as professionals.
